The Dragonfly Golf system is a first-of-its-kind smart suit and digital coaching app that offers pro golfers the benefits of 3D technology to improve their game. It translates a host of previously invisible data into practical yet powerful insights via hundreds of performance metrics, providing 360-degree visibility and instant feedback via your smartphone. The initial product is designed for elite and professional golfers who are seeking a competitive edge.

The product won numerous awards, like The PGA SHOW’s Pinnacle Award among others, ahead of its launch in Q1 2020 targeting European PGA players, leading golf clubs and coaches.

About you

The right candidate can leverage their established golf network to introduce Dragonfly Golf and lead the charge on driving sales amongst the UK/EU professional golf community. Our proven, award-winning technology is a world’s first. Your job will be to demonstrate its value to golfers and make it an essential part of their training regimen.

In-depth knowledge of the golf industry is a must, being able to manage the current sales pipeline and develop it further through your own network is a critical success factor. Experience working with PGA members, professional tour players and coaches, academies and national federations is a top criteria to help expand the route to market as well as obtain feedback for product design.

A strong background in coaching and/or playing at a professional level is also beneficial, in particular if you already have an in-depth knowledge around 3D technology and its use in performance development.

Other key functions of the role are/include:

• Identifying market opportunities for Dragonfly Golf system products and services
• Conducting full product demonstration involving using the Dragonfly Golf system personally
• Represent the company with professional tour players and coaches
• Represent the company with elite golf clubs, their management and members
• Onboard customers and deliver a superior customer experience
• Provide customer and market feedback to the product development teams to meet market opportunities and accelerate revenue growth
• Required education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
• Golf coaching experience preferred
• European Professional Tour experience
• Territory account management experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The role will be based from home with at least 50% of the time spent visiting potential customers or the development centre providing feedback into the product roadmap. This is the first of several UK/European roles and progression into a sales management position is possible in future years.

Salary

The salary is negotiable and will be a combination of base and commission aligned to the objectives of the business. Additional pay: Commission
